After huge popularity throughout last season, the fan favourite 'True Colour Track Walk' will make its Tasmanian debut at the Tyrepower Tasmania SuperSprint, which kicks off in 10 days time.

For the first time in Tasmania, race goers have the chance to step on to the Symmons Plains Circuit, view the cars and get to know all 25 drivers before they embark on 200 kilometres of race action on Sunday.

The unique fan experience was a regular on the V8 Supercars Championship calendar last year, with thousands of fans descending onto main straights at a number of the permanent circuits.

"We are elated to bring the True Colour Track Walk to Symmons Plains for the first time after its overwhelming success during the 2014 season," V8 Supercars Event Manager Rachael White said.

"Fans are the lifeblood of V8 Supercars and we are constantly focussing on opportunities to enhance their trackside experiences and immerse fans in the high-octane action.

"The True Colour Track Walk allows race goers to step inside an area usually inaccessible in motorsport, providing our fans with an incomparable entertainment package and great value for money."

The hour-long track walk for all ticketholders will kick off at 9.05am on Sunday of the Tyrepower Tasmania SuperSprint.

The Tasmanian event kicks off in 10 days time, with two hours of V8 Supercars practice on Friday, and practice, qualifying and racing on Saturday and Sunday.
