Viewers will be taken behind the scenes of Shane van Gisbergen’s stunning Sandown run while nursing a broken collarbone.

The latest instalment of the Inside Line – A Season with Triple Eight will delve into the events of last March.

Episode Two of the seven-part series will premiere on the Fox Sports 506 and Kayo on Wednesday.

The one-hour episode will air on Fox Sports (Channel 506) at 7:30pm AEST.

It will provide a first-hand account of the unfolding situation at Sandown Raceway in March 2021.

Van Gisbergen defied incredible odds to extend his unbeaten win tally, winning all three races at the iconic Melbourne venue.

Van Gisbergen's success came just 14 days after he underwent surgery to install a plate into his shoulder.

Against all odds, van Gisbergen motored to victory despite starting a lowly 17th.

The win from the ninth row broke a 56-year-old Sandown record, and only furthered van Gisbergen's title charge.

The episode features interviews with van Gisbergen and Jamie Whincup, as well as retiring Managing Director and Team Principal Roland Dane.

An exclusive interview Garth Tander details the team's trepidation as doubts grew over van Gisbergen's participation.

The episode also features never seen before footage of van Gisbergen’s treatment ahead of the Sandown event.

It includes exclusive vision from inside his quarters across the weekend.

The first episode featured an unprecedented look into Dane and the origins of Triple Eight Race Engineering.

An episode of the docuseries will screen every Wednesday night at 7:30pm AEST until the week of the Repco Bathurst 1000.

There, the final two episodes will screen back-to-back.

In a first for international fans, the latest Inside Line episode can be viewed each week on SuperView from 7:30pm AEST each Friday.

Further broadcast information for the Seven Network will be announced soon.

The 2022 season will resume in New Zealand across September 9-11. Tickets for the ITM Auckland SuperSprint are on sale now.
