Tickets have gone on sale for next year’s event at Symmons Plains in Tasmania.

The Repco Supercars Championship will return to Symmons Plains Raceway for the second round of the 2022 season.

The upcoming Tasmania SuperSprint will be the 49th ATCC/Supercars event at the 2.4km circuit.

Only Sandown Motor Raceway has hosted more championship events.

The short yet fast circuit made its championship debut in 1969, with Norm Beechey steering a Holden Monaro GTS 327 to victory.

In 48 visits, 29 drivers have won races, with the now retired Jamie Whincup leading the way with a staggering 13 wins.

The March 26-27 weekend will feature a bumper line-up of support categories and fun for the whole family.

Kids 12 and under receive free Trackside admission all weekend with a paying adult.

Trackside ticket holders can also upgrade their experience with Park and View access.

The 13-event 2022 Repco Supercars Championship will commence in Newcastle next year. Tickets for the event are on sale now.

The 13-round draft calendar was released during the Repco Bathurst 1000 weekend.
