Tekno Autosports has secured backing from Woodstock Bourbon for five of this year’s Virgin Australia Supercars Championship events.

The Will Davison driven Holden will sport Woodstock colours at the Clipsal 500, Townsville 400, Sandown 500, Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 and the Gold Coast 600.

Woodstock will take naming-rights position on the #19 Commodore for five events in 2017.

Tekno’s entry had run in the colours of Darrell Lea over recent seasons, winning the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 with Davison and team owner Jonathon Webb last year.

"Myself and Tekno are really excited to partner with an iconic brand like Woodstock,” said Webb.

“Working with an organisation of their stature shows our modest team has come a long way in a short amount of time.

“There are some exciting projects in the pipeline and we are all really looking forward to representing Woodstock on the Supercar and our uniforms in 2017."

Webb confirmed to Supercars.com that his team is still working on locking away primary sponsors for the season’s remaining events.

Michael Edmonds, General Manager of Marketing at Asahi Premium Beverages, expressed his enthusiasm for linking with Tekno.

**"**In our past two years’ involvement with Supercars we have seen unbelievable passion from both the teams and fans of the sport,” he said.

“Seeing a tight-knit and passionate team like Tekno come through the Supercars Championship, and to rise up and win the Bathurst 1000, really showed us that they are a team we would love to align with Woodstock.

“We are really excited to continue our involvement in the Supercars through our sponsorship of Tekno Woodstock Racing**."**

Woodstock is set to feature Davison in their trade promotions and marketing material throughout the year.

The company will kick off its sponsorship in March with a promotion giving fans the chance to win one of five three-day trips for two to the Gold Coast to enjoy a test drive experience with tuition by Davison at Tekno’s home base.
