V8 Supercar team Tekno Autosports will hold its Official Open Day at team headquarters in Stapylton this Sunday, June 2, from 10am to 2pm.
TEKNO invites the public to its annual event, which attracted over 2000 supporters last year, with primary focus on raising money for the Tour de Cure foundation.
Entry is via a gold coin donation, making it a great family day out. All of the proceeds from the day will be going to Tour de Cure, which supports cancer research and patient support programs.
The TEKNO Performance Show and Shine car exhibition will also be on display for the second year running, with over 200 modified street cars, hot rods and muscle cars registered for the show.
The Team TEKNO V.I.P. Petfoods and Team TEKNO Darrell Lea V8 Supercars will be on show, with the team conducting exclusive behind the scenes tours of the workshop, to provide the public an insight into what it takes to run a V8 Supercar team.
A free sausage sizzle and soft drinks will be available on the day with thanks to Motorama Holden, Springwood. The family friendly entertainment also includes a jumping castle and face painting for the kids, racing simulators, pit stop competitions, prizes, giveaways and race footage playing on the big screen all day.
Team TEKNO drivers Jonathon Webb and Shane van Gisbergen will be in attendance all day to sign autographs and meet the fans.
