Team 18 has unveiled Mark Winterbottom’s first Gen3 Chevrolet Camaro livery, complete with DEWALT backing.

The 2023 season will be Winterbottom’s fifth with Team 18, and his 20th as a full-time Supercars driver.

The 2015 series champion will become the third driver to record 600 race starts later this season.

Team 18 has returned the famous yellow and black colours of DEWALT for the new season on Winterbottom’s #18 Camaro.

The team previously ran DEWALT colours for Scott Pye in 2020 and 2021.

Pye’s Hino livery for the Thrifty Newcastle 500 was revealed earlier this week.

The #18 will also carry backing from Fuchs Lubricants, Hino, Seiko, Barry Bourke Motors, Kenworth Trucks, Credence Insurance, Super Spill Solutions, Manitou, Waverley Forklifts, D2N Technology Solutions, Taubmans, Ball & Doggett, Ozwide Joinery, ELWD Workwear, Alpinestars, Authentic Collectables, Bell Collision, Style Print, Industrial Batteries Australia, ACDelco Batteries, Mechanix Wear, The Cover Shop and RXT Helmets.

Nick Moss designed the DEWALT livery, which was brought to life by PPG paint and Ball & Doggett.

“The DEWALT Camaro looks really tough. DEWALT is such a recognisable brand and logo so to see it on our car is pretty cool, the car looks fantastic,” Winterbottom said.

"The guys and girls at Team 18 have worked big hours to get both cars ready, and we haven’t rushed it which has been great.

“Ultimately you want a good looking car that’s getting good looking trophies so that’s the goal for me this year.

“It’s exciting to see it in the flesh but even more excited to hit the track with anger and put it where it belongs.”

Team owner Charlie Schwerkolt said the car "absolutely looks the business”.

“Our partnership with Stanley Black & Decker enters its sixth year this year and they have been incredibly supportive of the team, providing the tools for our skilled mechanics to bring these cars to life,” Schwerkolt said.

“The team and drivers have been working incredibly hard in the off-season to get the upper hand on these Camaros and I feel we’re on to big things for Team 18 and DEWALT Racing in 2023.”

Adrian Davis, Managing Director ANZ - Stanley Black and Decker, added: "The team at Stanley Black & Decker are very excited to continue our partnership with Team 18 under the renewed banner of DEWALT Racing.

“It is also great to see that we have retained Mark Winterbottom on the number 18 Camaro. Mark is a renowned driver and a fantastic ambassador for our brands.”

The #18 DEWALT Camaro will test at Winton Motor Raceway for the first time on Wednesday 15 February.

Winterbottom and Pye will join their rivals at the all-in pre-season test at Sydney Motorsport Park on Wednesday 22 February.

The 2023 Repco Supercars Championship will commence in Newcastle on March 10-12.
