Shane van Gisbergen's Beaurepaires Sydney Cup lead has been slashed after mixed results at the ARMOR ALL Sydney SuperNight.
Van Gisbergen will carry a reduced 28-point lead to this week's BP Ultimate Sydney SuperSprint.
The series leader won the Saturday night race, but slumped to 23rd on Sunday after an early off and later drive-through penalty.
To celebrate Supercars' quadruple-header at Sydney Motorsport Park, Beaurepaires is throwing a $25,000 cash prize behind the first-ever Sydney Cup.

The Beaurepaires Sydney Cup will be awarded to the driver who accumulates the most points over the four rounds being held at SMSP.
The trophy and the $25,000 cheque will be presented to the winning driver at the Race 30 podium presentation of the Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight on November 21.
Van Gisbergen had previously enjoyed a 42-point lead over Will Davison, who had a series of run-ins with the points leader on Saturday.
Six drivers are within 100 points of van Gisbergen; Davison (28 points behind), Anton De Pasquale (45), Nick Percat (58), Jamie Whincup (61), Will Brown (85) and Chaz Mostert (99).
