Families attending this year’s Repco Bathurst 1000 will be the first to experience the Harvey Norman SuperKids Zone.

For the first time ever, the family experience will be trackside at October’s Great Race.

At Harris Park, even the youngest Supercars fan will be able to test their skills behind the wheel. CLICK HERE to purchase your event tickets.

The SuperKids Zone will be located in the new-look Harris Park precinct near the start-finish line.

It will offer kids from three years and over the opportunity to enjoy a combination of racing-inspired activities, with a chill out space for parents to relax.

That includes an inflatable racetrack with bikes, trikes and carts, a speed reaction game, table top activities focusing on patience and skills of steering, and the SuperKids Pit Stop Challenge.

“The Harvey Norman SuperKids Zone is an offering developed by Supercars and our partners and we’re thrilled to have it on board for this year’s Repco Bathurst 1000,” Event Manager Ryan Jones said.

“The SuperKids Zone will be an engaging area with activities designed for our youngest fans to test their racing abilities and enjoy a fun-filled day trackside with their family.”

It comes as Supercars and naming rights partner Repco unveiled the revamped Harris Park precinct earlier this week.

The brand-new experience for fans will begin as soon as they enter the circuit via the main gates, with a completely new layout of the famous entertainment area.

It features large interactive LED screens, a food court, entertainment quarter and for the first time – the Bathurst Public House.

An interactive Peter Brock display will celebrate the 50th anniversary since the Hall of Famer’s first Great Race victory, including a tribute to the Holden Torana XU-1 which he drove to victory that day.

Supercars littlest fans will have plenty of photo opportunities to mark the occasion, including a specially-made podium in Harris Park, where they can hold the coveted Peter Brock Trophy.

A giant Bathurst 1000 sign will also provide the ultimate 'Selfie Opportunity' at the main gate.

While in the precinct, fans can visit their favourite merchandise shops including the Repco Trackside Store, team and sponsor stores and hands-on activations.

The paddock will be open to fans who have purchased a Paddock Pass across the four-day event.

All-in autograph sessions will be held on Friday and Saturday at Mount Panorama.

Fans can get a free poster and meet their favourite drivers at 11:50am AEST on Friday and 3pm on Saturday.

Drivers and co-drivers will appear at the back of their team garages in the Supercars Paddock for 30 minutes on Friday and 40 minutes on Saturday.

The Dunlop Super2 Series, which has unearthed many stars of the future, will also hold an autograph session at the event.

The development series signing session will take place at the base of Tower 1 in the Supercars Paddock at 11:35am on Saturday October 6.

Trackside and Grandstand tickets are available for this year’s Repco Bathurst 1000 which runs 6-9 October at Mount Panorama through Supercars.com and Ticketek.
