The Repco Supercars Championship has set up shop in Darwin ahead of the betr Darwin Triple Crown, Supercars’ annual Indigenous Round.

All 26 Gen3 Supercars and drivers gathered on pit straight at Hidden Valley Raceway today, displaying the artwork and liveries adorning each of the Ford Mustangs and Chevrolet Camaros that will race this weekend.

Teams have worked with various Indigenous artists and organisations across Australia to support the Indigenous Round initiatives.

Along with turning out stunning, unique new liveries, several programs aimed at engaging Indigenous communities and young people have been developed ahead of this weekend’s racing.

Cars hit the track Friday morning at the Northern Territory’s largest annual sporting event, where Australia best from Supercars, Superbikes, drag racing, and more will compete across three days of action at Hidden Valley.

This year’s event marks the 25th anniversary of the first Supercars event at Darwin, and will be the first in which the new-for-2023 Gen3 Mustangs and Camaros will race in the Northern Territory.

Coca-Cola Racing’s Brodie Kostecki leads the Supercars standings into the event, with team mate Will Brown in second ahead of Ford star Chaz Mostert in third.

Across three races in 2022, Mostert, Shell V-Power’s Anton De Pasquale, and Monster Energy’s Cam Waters each took victory. Only Waters has scored a win in 2023, at the season-opening race in Newcastle.

Coverage of the betr Darwin Triple Crown can be found on Seven and Foxtel, with live streaming available on 7plus and Kayo
