The close shave of Schick meets the close-combat racing of the Repco Supercars Championship this year in an all-new partnership, which sees Schick become the Official Male Grooming Partner of Supercars, Australasia’s premier motorsport category.

As part of a two-year deal with Supercars, Schick will have a considerable presence both on the ground at Supercars events and online via Supercars’ digital channels throughout the 2023 and 2024 Repco Supercars Championship seasons. Schick will also be the naming rights partner of the Schick Supercars Cool Down Lap podcast, which returns for its second season in 2023 and will recap each round of the 12-event championship.

"We are very excited to introduce Schick as the Official Men’s Grooming Partner of the Repco Supercars Championship," said Ivan Nuich, RVP Oceania, Edgewell Personal Care.

"Partnering the Schick brand with a growing and exciting sport such as Supercars will help us engage with our core demographic in a more meaningful way. We will integrate our partnership online through social and digital platforms, at race events through signage and activations, and in-store with our wide range of retail partners.

"Schick represents precision, closeness, and innovation, which are just a few synergies we share with the talented teams and drivers of the Supercars Championship. We are really looking forward to the years ahead and the launch of the Gen3 era of Supercars this weekend.”

"It is fantastic to welcome Schick on board the Repco Supercars Championship as our Official Grooming Partner from 2023,” said Shane Howard, Supercars CEO.

“Schick is, of course, a very well-known consumer brand used by race fans of all ages, and partnering with Schick will allow us to engage our fanbase in new and exciting ways both on and off the track.

“Supercars is known for its close competition, just as Schick is known for providing a close shave through its range of products, and we are looking forward to sharing those similarities and more across the term of our partnership.

"We are excited to add another high-profile brand to our growing list of commercial partners ahead of the 2023 Repco Supercars Championship, and are eager to take our relationship with the team at Schick to new heights in the months and years to come.”

After plenty of close shaves at the Thrifty Newcastle 500 this past weekend, the Repco Supercars Championship next competes at the Beaurepaires Melbourne SuperSprint, where the category will race in support of the Formula One Australian Grand Prix.
