Jordan Boys has secured his return to the Repco Bathurst 1000 grid with Brad Jones Racing.

Boys, who missed out on a Bathurst drive in 2021, will share the #96 Commodore with Macauley Jones.

The 24-year-old made his Great Race debut with BJR in 2020, partnering with Todd Hazelwood.

The Albury-based team also confirmed Dale Wood will join Andre Heimgartner in the #8 R&J Batteries entry.

Karting ace Boys has form in Bathurst; last December, he crossed the line first an incident-filled Super2 finale in 2021, holding off eventual series winner Broc Feeney.

Boys has not returned to the Super2 fold in 2022, but is determined to make the most of his latest opportunity.

"I’m really stoked to be able to jump back in," Boys said.

"To be able to do it with Macca is great too because he is probably the guy I’m closest with in the field."

Team owner Brad Jones said he was disappointed not to be able to find room for Boys for last year's enduros and is excited to welcome him back.

"Jordan is a really strong driver and he’s been in Super2 for a while, so I thought it was a good chance to get him back together with the team," Jones said.

"There are lots of things that contribute but the fact is I think he is fast, and I think he fits in with the team well and will do a great job, and that’s why I want him."

BJR will continue its 2022 campaign at the NED Whisky Tasmania SuperSprint across March 26-27.

The event is being broadcast exclusively live and ad free on Foxtel and streamed live on Kayo.

The Seven Network will broadcast highlights on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are still available through Ticketek or Supercars.com.
