Andre Heimgartner will campaign a new livery on his #7 NED Whisky Ford Mustang Supercar at this weekend’s NTI Townsville 500.

The predominantly white scheme of Heimgartner’s Kelly Grove Racing Mustang will be replaced by a black and blue livery for the next four rounds.

The new colour scheme celebrates title sponsor NED Whisky's new 8% Cola.

The Kelly Grove squad has produced the unique livery in conjunction with its paint supplier PPG and vinyl partner Graphic Art Mart.

It comes after the team ran a special one-off black and gold livery at Sandown, celebrating the 350th race start of David Reynolds.

Heimgartner, already a race winner in 2021, was delighted with his car’s new look.

“A mid season change up is always exciting and I can’t wait to get out on track and show off the new NED Whisky livery and race suit,” Heimgartner said.

"The new design is sure to stand out and will for sure be the centre of attention on the track.”

Drew Fairchild, CEO Top Shelf International, added: "Due to overwhelming consumer and customer demand, we’ve introduced a new member to the NED gang.

"The NED Whisky & Cola 8% sits at the top of our ready-to-serve range and is perfect for those who like a stronger, bolder flavour.

"NED Whisky is distilled and matured in Victoria, and what separates it from the rest is a commitment to quality and ensuring our ready-to-serve range contains the same bold, mellow, rich Australian whisky as our premium bottled spirit.

"It's all about convenience not compromise.

"We're sure the fans will love the bold new livery on Andre's NED Racing Mustang this weekend.”

Heimgartner enters this weekend’s NTI Townsville 500 11th in the points standings.

The 2021 Repco Supercars Championship season will resume this weekend at the NTI Townsville 500. Tickets are available here.

The event will be broadcast live on Foxtel and will be streamed on Kayo, and will be broadcast live and free on Seven.
