UPDATE 3 FINAL: 2100hrs Sunday 25th August 2013

Following an investigation and admission by Scott McLaughlin Car #33 that he breached Rule B3.2.6 by placing a video image on his Facebook Page the Stewards imposed a fine of $5000 with $4000 suspended until 31/12/2013.

There were no issues

Matters arising from Qualifying for Race 27

There were no issues

Matters arising from Race 26

Bad Sportsmanship Flag displayed to Car #17 Tim Blanchard for blocking.

Matters arising from Race 27

After an investigation into an alleged Breach of the Rules, Car #9 Maro Engel causing contact with Car #21 David Wall. No breach of the rules established.

After an investigation into an alleged Breach of the Rules, Car #5 Mark Winterbottom causing contact with Car #15 Rick Kelly. No breach of the rules established.

The Stewards imposed a penalty of 10 seconds that was taken during a pit stop on Car #21 David Wall for a false start.

After an investigation of an incident involving Car #88 Craig Lowndes and Car #36 Michael Caruso and an admission of Careless Driving by Car #888 Craig Lowndes the Stewards imposed a penalty of Loss of 25 Championship Points.

Matters arising from Qualifying for Race 25:

After an investigation into an alleged Breach of the Rules, Car #15 Rick Kelly causing contact with Car #5 Mark Winterbottom during Qualifying. No breach of the rules were established.

Tim Slade Car #47 was excluded from taking further part in the qualifying session and penalised loss of fastest lap in session for causing a Red Flag.

Matters arising from Race 25 first half:

There were no issues.

Matters arising from Race 25 second half:

After an investigation into an alleged Breach of the Rules, Careless Driving involving Car #17 Tim Blanchard and Car #19 Jonathon Webb. No breach of the rules were established. 

UPDATE 1: 1830hrs Friday 23rd August 2013

Matters arising from Practice - Part 1:

Following an investigation and admission by Jorbi Pty Ltd that they worked on Car #21 David Wall in the Fast Lane, the Stewards imposed a penalty of $500 on Jorbi Pty Ltd.

Stewards imposed the following penalties:

  • Greg Ritter Car #34 was fined $350 for exceeding the Pit Lane speed limit.

  • Todd Kelly Car #7 was fined $750 for exceeding the Pit Lane speed limit.

  • Tony D’Alberto Car #3 was fined $350 for exceeding the Pit Lane speed limit.

Matters arising from Practice - Part 2:

There were no issues.
