The stewards' rulings from this weekend's races at Albert Park.

UPDATE 5: (Final) 16:00hrs Sunday 16th March 2014

Matters arising from Race 4:

The IO investigated the following incidents and no breaches of the rules were established;

  • Car #97 Shane van Gisbergen and Car #17 David Wall

  • Car #2 Garth Tander and Car #300 Michael Caruso

  • Car #300 Michael Caruso and Car #15 Rick Kelly 

UPDATE 4: 12:00hrs Sunday 16th March 2014

Matters arising from Race 3:

Following an investigation and an admission by Chaz Mostert Car #6 in that he had driven in a careless manner, failed to leave sufficient racing room to Car #2 Garth Tander on the exit at Turn 6, the Stewards imposed the loss of 25 Meeting Points.

The IO investigated an incident involving Car#16 Scott Pye and Car #47 Tim Slade, with no breach of rules established.

Matters arising from Race 2:

There were no issues

Further Matter arising from Race 1:

The IO investigated an incident involving Will Davison Car #9 and Rick Kelly Car #15, with no breach of rules established. 

UPDATE 2: 13:45hrs Friday 14th March 2014

Matters arising from Race 1:

Following an investigation and an admission by Scott Pye Car #16 in that he had driven in a careless manner, contact to Car #55 David Reynolds at Turn 3, the Stewards imposed a time penalty of fifty seconds to be added to his Race Time, equivalent to a PLP.

Following an investigation and an admission by Jamie Whincup Car #1 in that he had driven in a careless manner, failed to leave sufficient racing room to Car #33 Scott McLaughlin on the main straight, the Stewards imposed a 5 Grid penalty on Car #1 for Race Two.
