Stewards Summary Update #3: issued Sunday 10th July 2016 at 1930hrs.

Matters from Qualifying for Race 15;

The Stewards imposed a 2 Grid Spot penalty on Car #14, Kurt Kostecki in Race 15 for blocking Car #14 Tim Slade at Turn 11.

An investigation was conducted into the blocking incident involving Car #7, Todd Kelly and Car #14, Tim Slade at Turn 13. No breach of the rules was established.

Following an investigation and an admission by Jason Bright, Car #8, of Careless Driving (causing contact with Car #34, James Moffat at Turn 2), the Stewards imposed the penalty of the loss of 3 Grid Spots for Race 15 on Car #8.

Matters from Top Ten Shootout;

There were no issues.

Following an investigation and an admission by Walkinshaw Performance, that they breached Rule D12.7.2 – Control of Equipment and Parts during Pit Stop (wheel nut into fast lane), the Stewards imposed a penalty of loss of 30 Team Championship Points plus $3,000.

Matters from Qualifying for Race 14:

The Stewards imposed a 2 Grid Spot penalty on Car #222, Nick Percat in Race 14 for blocking Car #4 Aaren Russell at Turn 8.

Matters from Race 14:

The Stewards imposed a Pit Lane Penalty on Car #15, Rick Kelly for breach of Sch B2 Rule 2.1, causing contact on Car #14, Tim Slade at Turn 11.

Races 14 and 15 - Castrol EDGE Townsville 400

There were no issues from Practice Part 1 and Practice Part 2.
