Richie Stanaway will make another racing appearance for Triple Eight in the lead-up to his Supercars enduro starts.

The New Zealander will race with Shane van Gisbergen at the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 and Repco Bathurst 1000.

This weekend, Stanaway will race one of the team’s #888 Mercedes-AMG entries in the GT World Challenge Australia Perth round.

The Kiwi will share the #888 entry with Prince Jefri Ibrahim, replacing Broc Feeney.

Feeney steps away from the AMG as he returns to the seat of the #88 Red Bull Ampol Racing Camaro in Perth.

Feeney’s absence opens the door for Stanaway to make another pre-enduro start with Triple Eight.

The Perth starts will be Stanaway’s second competitive appearance since he made a solid comeback at last year’s Repco Bathurst 1000.

Stanaway competed with Triple Eight — alongside Ibrahim and Jamie Whincup — at February’s LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12 Hour.

They brought home a class podium finish, with Stanaway later testing van Gisbergen’s #97 Camaro.

The GT series supports Supercars alongside the Dunlop Series, WA Historics and V8 SuperUtes.

GT World Challenge Australia action commences on Friday with Practice 1 at 9:10am local time.

Tickets for this weekend’s Bosch Power Tools Perth SuperSprint are on sale on Supercars.com and Ticketek.com.

The Penrite Oil Sandown 500 will be held on September 15-17, and the Repco Bathurst 1000 on October 5-8.
