A brand new Corporate Experience will be added to Supercars marquee events in 2018, with the introduction of the Unibet Sports Lounge Powered by FOX SPORTS.
The sports-bar themed corporate experience will be an offer for fans attending this year’s Watpac Townsville 400, Red Rooster Sydney SuperNight, Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, Vodafone Gold Coast 600 and the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship grand finale, the Coates Hire Newcastle 500.
Supercars Chief Operating Officer, Shane Howard, says the innovative design of the sports lounge is the perfect environment for Supercars fans to share their love of all sports.
“Our entry level corporate experience is a casual non-reserved sports bar, with screens showing all FOX SPORTS channels,” Howard said.
“Differing from other corporate offering, fans will be able to enjoy a pay as you go bar, lunch, afternoon tea and snacks throughout the day.
“It will be the perfect location to entertain clients or to bring a few mates, to experience our biggest events of the year.”
Group Director, Commercial Premises at FOX SPORTS Steve O’Connor said: “We are excited to be working with our valued partners, Supercars, to bring Australia’s greatest sports coverage to Australian Supercars events across the season.”
“The Unibet Sports Lounge Powered by FOX SPORTS will provide FOX SPORTS’ unrivalled coverage with all our channels on screens, ensuring guests don’t miss a minute of their favourite sport whilst enjoying great Supercars events and corporate hospitality.”
Julian Timmins, the Head of Marketing & Operations at Unibet said the lounge has been designed to cater to sports fans of all kinds.
“Unibet is all about giving punters the best possible experience across all sports and racing codes,” Timmins said.
“The Unibet Sports Lounge powered by FOX SPORTS will give Supercars fans the opportunity to keep up to date with how their footy team or favourite athlete is going without missing a minute of the Supercars action on track.”
A similar sports bar corporate experience is expected to be announced for the ITM Auckland SuperSprint in the coming weeks.
