New sponsors cover Todd Kelly's Nissan Altima this weekend at the Perth SuperSprint.

Branding for the all-new Nissan Navara features on the doors, with the team's long-time supporter BMC Air Filters on the bonnet for Kelly, who currently sits 12th in the Championship standings and is the second highest placed Nissan.

Nissan Motorsport commercial director Nick Ryan explained that the manufacturer had been focused on promoting the Navara, and using the V8 Supercar program was an obvious option to help get the message out.

"Nissan has been highly proactive in the promotion of the upcoming release of the all-new NP300 Nissan Navara," Ryan said.

"V8 Supercars is seen as a key platform to support the launch of this new vehicle and we are pleased to play a significant role in this promotion with the Navara branding.

"We are also very pleased to announce increased support from incumbent partner BMC Air Filters.

"BMC Air Filters is a leading brand in the industry and have featured in our V8 Supercars since the inception of the team.

"We are pleased to support their continued growth in the market place by showcasing the brand not just underneath bonnet but now also on top!"

James Moffat also unveiled new colours for Perth earlier this week, with a drive through the South Perth streets on Wednesday.

Kelly celebrates his 204th start this weekend, and willequal Dick Johnson for ninth on the list of ATCC/V8SC round starts. He will start his 204th championship round at Barbagallo and has the fourth most round starts of active drivers behind Craig Lowndes, Garth Tander and Jason Bright.

Kelly, who won the 2005 Bathurst 1000 with Mark Skaife when he raced at the Holden Racing Team, shrugged off the milestones, telling v8supercars.com.au earlier this week that it is "just a number".

The V8 Supercars will hit the track shortly, with practice beginning today at 10.30am local time.
