Supercars has released a sneak peek of the brand new graphics package for the 2021 Repco Supercars Championship broadcast.

The new graphics package will be part of the first year of the new five-year broadcast deal with Foxtel, the Seven Network and Kayo.

All broadcasters will use the new graphics, which will integrate the new championship colour scheme at all 12 events.

The new scheme has been designed by Girraphic, which boasts a high-profile portfolio of clients including the NBA, NFL and the Australian Open.

Included is a tweaked leader board totem, as well as lower frame staples, full-frame grids, results, wipes, and driver-specific animated stings.

Supercars television boss Nathan Prendergast said the new graphics package gives the championship its own broadcast identity.

"I'm excited to share with fans our new look GFX package designed specifically and dedicated to Supercars," Prendergast said.

"Historically the sport has adopted the GFX look of the rights holders but in line with other global motorsport properties, we have worked with our partner Girraphic in creating a package that is bespoke to Supercars."

"Among the most notable changes are the brand-new totem that no longer utilises abbreviations for drivers' names in a single driver mode making it easier for viewers to find their favourite driver."

The new graphics will make their debut at next week's Repco Mt Panorama 500. Tickets are on sale now.
