The Shell V-Power Racing Team has shared a sneak peek of its Gen3 Ford Mustang builds.

Dick Johnson Racing is Ford’s official homologation team in Supercars.

There will be 11 Fords on the 2023 grid — two from DJR, four Tickford Racing cars, two Grove Racing cars, a single Blanchard entry and two from Blue Oval newcomers Walkinshaw Andretti United.

General Motors will be represented by six teams and 14 Camaros — two from Triple Eight, two from Erebus Motorsport, two from Team 18, two from Matt Stone Racing, four from Brad Jones Racing and two from PremiAir Racing.

DJR shared an image to its social media accounts from its Stapylton workshop, complete with ongoing Gen3 builds.

"The Shell V-Power Racing Team is back in the workshop and ready to tackle 2023,” the team posted.

"First on the agenda - building our Gen3 Mustang.”

The 2023 Repco Supercars Championship will be the first under the team's new Ralph family ownership.

The Ralph family's majority shareholding in the team commenced this month.

Their interest will be held through the Melbourne Aces Baseball Club.

DJR also welcomes new CEO David Noble, with Ryan Story shifting into the Non-Executive Chairman role.

The new ownership and leadership comes ahead of the debut of the Gen3 rules, with DJR charged with developing Ford’s new Supercar for the new era.

Grove Racing has since revealed its progress on its two Penrite Racing Fords, with panels and engines installed.

The Blanchard Racing Team recently released images of its near-complete CoolDrive car.

The Mustang prototype is set to complete additional testing at Queensland Raceway this week.

DJR is the sole Queensland-based Ford team, with the others based in Victoria.

Queensland teams are slated to shake down their Gen3 cars for the first time on January 30.

Will Davison and Anton De Pasquale will form DJR's line-up for a third season.

The 2023 Repco Supercars Championship will commence in Newcastle on March 10-12.

Tickets are on sale on Supercars.com and Ticketek.com.
