This year’s Great Race coverage will be shown on Seven for the second straight year.

The Seven Network’s coverage will commence at 10.00am AEDT Friday 7 October on Channel 7, 7mate and 7plus.

Friday’s broadcast includes the all-important ARMOR ALL Qualifying session.

That session will set the running order for Saturday’s ARMOR ALL Top Ten Shootout.

Saturday’s coverage starts at 10.00am AEDT on Channel 7, 7mate and 7plus.

Seven’s Saturday action will include Supercars practice and the Shootout.

McLaughlin (L) also leads Seven's cricket coverage

Seven’s broadcast of the highly anticipated final day starts at 7.30am AEDT Sunday on Channel 7 and 7plus.

The race will commence at 11:15am AEDT.

The coverage will be hosted by Sunrise Sport Presenter, Mark Beretta and 7NEWS Sydney Sport Presenter Mel McLaughlin.

Beretta first joined Bathurst broadcasts in 2007, with McLaughlin making her Mountain debut.

Seven’s broadcast team will also be joined by Erebus Motorsport driver Jack Perkins.

Most bizarre and controversial Bathurst moments ever

Supercars Hall of Famers Mark Skaife and Neil Crompton will lead the commentary of the Supercars Championship’s premier event.

The coverage continues uninterrupted during commercial breaks via cutting-edge picture-in-picture (PiP) technology.

Lewis Martin, Managing Director Seven Melbourne and Head of Network Sport, was keen to get the action underway.

"It’s already been a massive year of sport on Seven, but you haven’t seen anything yet,” Martin said.

“The Bathurst 1000 is without a doubt the premier event in Australian motorsport.

"Seven will bring fans all the best action from Mount Panorama across three full days of adrenaline-charged live and free racing, from this Friday.”

Cars will hit the track at Mount Panorama for Practice 1 on Thursday.
