Supercars will waste no time returning to the track at Hidden Valley this weekend with an early start scheduled for this Saturday.
A rookie-only practice session will open the CoreStaff Darwin SuperSprint at 8:20am local time.
It’s part of a move to fit into a busy Darwin day, with the Northern Territory election and a blockbuster AFL night match between Essendon and Richmond also happening Saturday.
Sunday too will follow a slightly earlier timeline than last weekend, kicking off with qualifying from 10:20am local time.
The Supercars track schedule will follow the format used at the Triple Crown event – featuring three 38-lap races – but with the addition of more on-track action.
A combined local Darwin support category will join the line-up, involving a single practice/qualifying session and a trio of 20-minute races.
