All up, there will be 17 sessions on show across the July 18-19 weekend at Sydney Motorsport Park, featuring a mix of daylight and night-time racing.

For the main game, the format remains the same as that used for the successful first round back last month, headlined by three 32-lap sprint races.

The three-part Saturday qualifying, including a Top 15 Shootout, will also return.

The combined Dunlop Super2 and Super3 fields will have two 40-minute practice sessions to get up to speed.

They will then have a qualifying session and 18-lap race on each day – the official resumption of the Dunlop Super2 Series after a five-month break.

The Saturday Super2/Super3 race will be run at twilight starting from 5:05pm, leading into the first Supercars night race of 2020 from 6:25pm.

Scott McLaughlin leads the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship by 49 points over Jamie Whincup, while Brodie Kostecki holds a slender two-point advantage over Thomas Randle in the second-tier.

Information regarding tickets for the event will be released in the coming days.
