Sargent Security has confirmed plans to make a statement in V8 Supercars, becoming the naming rights sponsors of the Sargent Security Phillip Island 360 for the next three years.

The Sargent Security Phillip Island 360 (Nov 22-24) will host the penultimate round of the V8 Supercars Championship and the final 60/60 Sprint race weekend of the year.

A one-stop security provider, Sargent Security supplies security guards, mobile patrols, emergency responses, alarms, CCTV, access control systems, and now services 24 hours, all days of the week, nationally.

Sargent Security General Manager Peter Harris says V8 Supercars has already raised the profile of the growing business through existing partnerships with teams and drivers.

"We used to do a lot of advertising in the industry magazines but V8 Supercars offers a variety of strategic and direct ways to leverage our brand," Mr Harris said.

"Our clients love it and the television coverage has helped with the growth of our company. We now have more than 65 cars in our fleet of patrol, technical service, traffic control and sales vehicles."

V8 Supercars CEO James Warburton said Sargent Security's decision to increase their sponsorship portfolio within the sport was more great news for the sport.

"Sargent Security has taken the opportunity to increase their commercial commitment to event naming rights level while retaining the team investments that have delivered significant benefits," Mr Warburton said.

"The Sargent Security Phillip Island 360, at one of the world's best circuits, will be widely watched at a critical time within the Championship.

"It is an ideal platform for Sargent Security to build on the profile and awareness of their growing business."

Sargent Security is one of the fastest growing security companies in Australia and is proud to be joining V8 Supercars as they expand.

"We like the direction the V8 Supercars are moving and we will be right beside them all the way," Mr Harris said.

Sargent Security Director Ben Robert says that the company has increased their commitment and extensive portfolio across the sport, utilising V8 Supercars and its support categories as a major marketing platform since 2011.

"It is our third year with V8 Supercars and each year we have invested more into a number of teams and drivers," Mr Robert said.

"Now it's time to take it to the next level and sponsor an event and the Phillip Island 360 was the right one for us.

"We have increased our commitment to Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport, Paul Morris Motorsport and Steve Owen in the V8 Supercars, as well as Michael Patrizi in the Porsche Carrera Cup."
