Rock and race at Castrol EDGE Townsville 400 today

With 150 critical points on offer for today's 200km haul, the racing is set to be action-packed as the drivers battle it out for the top step of the podium.

This morning they'll warm up in a 20-minute practice session at 9.10am, before giving it their all to lock out ARMOR ALL Pole Position in a single qualifying session at 1.10pm ahead of today's 70-lapper at 4.15pm.

But before the lights go green, make your way over to the V8 Supercars Paddock with your Paddock Pass for the V8 Supercars Driver Autograph Session from 10.30am. Get some autographs, take some pictures and wish your favourite drivers good luck during the 30-minute session outside of the team garages.

While you're there, check out all the behind-the-scenes action as the talented teams work on the cars, trying to make them go faster in the V8 Supercars paddock. From inside the paddock you can also see the amazing purpose-built transporters, while you may even bump into some of the personalities of pit lane.

Getting to the track has never been easier, with the Transit Centre at Lou Lister Park. A drop-off zone at Brodie Street where buses and taxis can set down passengers' right at an entry gate will ensure a smooth carefree entry to the event for all race fans.

Escape the heat and relax in comfort at the TAFE Queensland SuperTop. There's a number of bars, food stalls and seating on hand, while a big screen will ensure you won't miss a second of the action. Hot FM will also be on stage broadcasting from the SuperTop and will host the V8 Supercars Dunlop Series drivers for their autograph session at 12.15pm.

The SuperTop will also host the Ladies Lounge from 11am until 3pm today. With nail painting, hair and make-up retouches, fashionable furniture and a private cash bar, the Ladies Lounge is the perfect haven for ladies to refresh and relax at the race-track.

When the chequered flag drops this afternoon, make sure you make your way back to the SuperTop to rock out live to ARIA-award winning band The Living End and indie group Bids of Tokyo. It is sure to be epic.

Australia's top stunt man Matt Mingay and the Hot Wheels Stuntz Inc Stunt Team will bring their adrenalin-filled show to Reid Park today, while the Aussie Bandit Ute will perform its thrilling stunt show on track too.
