Repair Management Australia Racing has announced its support for the Buy a Bale campaign in the build up to the season-opener this weekend.

The #23 Holden Commodore will carry the Buy a Bale branding on the quarter panels at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide; with driver Russell Ingall urging fans to support the campaign.

"It is a great honour to be able to help our massively struggling farmers out there,” Ingall said.

“You hear of some heartbreaking stories and cant even imagine what some of them are going through so as a team we hope we can bring a huge awareness to this campaign and help out people that are the backbone of our country."

As Australians have done in the past with floods in Queensland and fires in Victoria and South Australia, Repair Management Australia Racing is supporting farmers enduring desperate drought conditions and financial hardship.

“To me it seems our farmers are sometimes a forgotten industry and we tend to look at bailing out everyone else except an industry which is our heritage," Ingall said.

“Please join our team with a donation of as little as $10 or as much as you can, with 100 per cent of proceeds going directly to the farmers."

With over 70 per cent of Queensland already drought declared and New South Wales now affected, Buy a Bale has raised over $850,000 since it started in June last year. This money is providing resources and assistance to farmers in need, with the money being converted into thousands of bales and hay, diesel, water and basic family essentials.

Campaign Coordinator Charles Alder believes the partnership is a great leap forward for Buy a Bale.

“The added exposure will help us share the plight of our farmers and the conditions they are experiencing with a much larger audience," Alder said.

“We’re looking forward to working with the team to help raise funds, raise awareness and provide even more assistance to our valuable rural communities.”

The #23 car will showcase the new livery in Adelaide at the Clipsal 500, which begins tomorrow and runs until Sunday evening. Ingall fans can catch a live interview with him on the Adelaide Channel Seven news tonight from 6.15pm local time. Channel Seven will cross to the RMA Racing garage to speak to The Enforcer ahead of this weekend's challenging season opener.
