After favourable response from event-goers in Townsville, the Super Top returns to the last SuperStreet race on the calendar for the V8 Supercars 2014 Grand Finale at the Sydney NRMA 500.

Fans can escape the December weather across the entire weekend at the Super Top, relaxing in the shade to watch the track action in comfort on the big screen.

V8 Supercars Chief Operating Officer Shane Howard said the Super Top would make a great addition to the line-up of entertainment options on offer at the Sydney NRMA 500.

"The Super Top proved to be a fan favourite on its debut in Townsville, so we're excited to bring it back for the Sydney NRMA 500," he said.

"What has been an uncovered park at our previous visits to Sydney Olympic Park will now transform into an entertainment hub where racegoers can escape the heat and chill out to watch the race.

"The Super Top is really quite an impressive structure that will prove to be a huge asset to the Sydney NRMA 500."

Live music, food and refreshments stalls will also be on offer under the ultimate entertainment zone at the Sydney NRMA 500, which is the largest indoor canvas, housing 8000 people undercover.

The Super Top will be located on Cathy Freeman Park - a central location close to the V8 Supercars paddock and the other entertainment options on offer.
