PremiAir Racing has offered close-up insight into its ongoing Gen3 Chevrolet Camaro builds.

PremiAir Racing staff have been working at Triple Eight headquarters assembling the team’s first Gen3 cars.

The second-year team will be represented by Tim Slade and James Golding in the 2023 Repco Supercars Championship.

Slade and Golding will race two turnkey Triple Eight Camaros.

However, Gold Coast-based PremiAir Racing staff have been visiting Triple Eight’s Banyo base to assist with the builds.

PremiAir Racing will also have a technical alliance with Triple Eight.

Several teams in recent weeks have shared progress of their Gen3 builds.

Earlier this week, Ford teams Dick Johnson Racing and Grove Racing offered glimpses of their build progress.

"We’re going to receive them turnkey, ready to go," PremiAir Racing Team Principal Matt Cook recently said.

“Having said that, all of my guys are going to go down to Triple Eight and put them together.

“We don’t have the stress of most other teams.

Ford will be represented by 11 cars from five teams.

Queensland-based teams, including PremiAir Racing, are slated to shake down their cars for the first time on January 30.

Matt Stone Racing, another Queensland squad, also revealed an image from its Yatala workshop.

In the image, an MSR Gen3 Camaro has been fitted with wheels and dummy engine weights.

PremiAir Racing will also take part in the forthcoming LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12 Hour, marking the team's GT racing debut.

The 2023 Repco Supercars Championship will commence in Newcastle on March 10-12.
