The 2011 Bathurst winner’s car will feature co-naming backing from Mobil 1 and NTI, which has upped its support of WAU.

The new season will also take WAU towards a third decade with long-time sponsor Mobil 1.

Percat's sleek WAU livery revealed

NTI was previously a Platinum Partner of WAU through brand Truck Assist.

In line with the new livery, it was announced Morris Finance, Goodyear Autocare and Amarok W580 have increased their support of WAU in 2022.

Also returning for WAU on the livery, among several partners, are the likes of Corestaff, PPG, Appliances Online, Palm Trans, Prixcar Fleet Services and Oakley.

The black, white and sliver livery was designed by PPG, Signzone and Spicers.

The new-look car will hit the track for the first time next Tuesday at Winton Motor Raceway.

"To see the Mobil 1 NTI Racing car in the flesh, I think it looks absolutely amazing," Percat said.

"I’ve had some pretty cool history with Mobil 1 last time I was here, so it’s great to be representing them again.

"To have NTI step up as well with the team and show their support in me and the team is really cool.

"Morris have been with me from the very start at Walkinshaw, over a decade ago, and as a Morris ambassador it's great to reconnect with them on the team side at WAU, 11 years down the track in my development.

"It’s fantastic to see such a strong show of support from the entire partner group."

WAU team boss Bruce Stewart said: "We are rapt to reveal the Mobil 1 NTI Racing No. 2, we think it’s a seriously good-looking race car.

"It wouldn’t feel right to not have Mobil 1 on the bonnet, and to have NTI join them as a co-naming rights partner is fantastic.

"We can’t thank them enough for their increased support for the 2022 season. Both are amazing companies who we are proud to represent.

"I’m really excited to see what Nick can achieve this season. He’s fitted in seamlessly around here, so it’ll be nice to get on track and get the year underway."

NTI CEO Tony Clark added: "If ever there was a time to step up our support for Walkinshaw Andretti United, 2022 is it. There’s a new buzz ahead of this year’s season.

"The expansion of our sponsorship reflects our commitment, our trust and how excited we are to be part of the partnership mix for the entire team.

"The new livery looks fantastic. The NTI brand down the side of the car looks fast, even without moving. We can’t wait to see Nick in action."

The new-look car will make its racing debut in Sydney next month. Event tickets are on sale now.
