Matt Stone Racing has teased the Truck Assist livery its two Gen3 Chevrolet Camaros will race in 2023.

MSR, which is based in Yatala, will field two of the 14 Camaros entered in the 2023 Supercars season.

In a teaser posted to the team’s social accounts on Friday, MSR confirmed it will reveal its new livery on Monday 13 February.

The teaser image shows the front splitter of car #35 — which will be driven by rookie Cameron Hill in 2023 — with branding of Chevrolet Racing and SS Signs, as well as Truck Assist orange.

Truck Assist has been MSR's naming rights partner since the start of 2022.

The team has run General Motors machinery since mid-2018, and has been a two-car operation since 2020.

Jack Le Brocq will be joined by Canberran first-year driver, 2021 Carrera Cup champion Hill, this season.

The team tested its first MSR-built Camaro at Queensland Raceway earlier this week.

Given the livery had yet to be revealed, the team rolled out a plain-black Camaro with a Truck Assist logo on the doors.

The day was a milestone in itself for Hill, who is one of three rookies in 2023 along with former Super2 rivals Declan Fraser (Tickford Racing) and Matt Payne (Penrite Racing).

“What a special morning for me to be the first driver to drive a Camaro,” Hill said after lapping the MSR Camaro on Tuesday.

“It’s been really cool. The day has gone super smoothly.

“We did some install laps, the boys had a look at the car, and it’s all been perfect.

“We’ll go into our test program, tune the car up and get ahead of the other teams.”

The 2023 Repco Supercars Championship will commence in Newcastle on March 10-12.

Tickets are on sale on Supercars.com and Ticketek.com.
