Chaz Mostert has tested a Mercedes-AMG ahead of a possible entry into the 2023 Crowdstrike Spa 24 Hours.
Walkinshaw Andretti United driver Mostert jetted over to Belgium after last weekend’s NED Whisky Tasmania SuperSprint.
Mostert took to the SunEnergy1 Mercedes during the two-day prologue at Spa-Francorchamps, just days after racing his #25 Mobil 1 Optus Mustang Supercar at Symmons Plains.
The 2023 edition of the 24 Hours of Spa will be held on the June 29-July 2 weekend.
The SunEnergy1 Mercedes-AMG GT3 is run out of the team owned by two-time Bathurst 12 Hour winner Kenny Habul.
Aussie Habul, a GT racing veteran Pro-Am champion, won the Bathurst 12 Hour in 2022 and 2023.

Mostert has previously raced BMW and Audi machinery in GT competition.
The two-time Bathurst 1000 winner is a two-time Bathurst 12 Hour pole-winner, claiming pole in 2018 (BMW) and 2022 (Audi).
Mostert’s flying trip to Europe comes after WAU Team Principal Bruce Stewart earmarked possible overseas efforts by his drivers.
"Watch this space — we’re working on something right now," Stewart said in Tasmania.
"Nick [Percat] loves his karting and he spends a lot of time in between rounds doing a lot of that.
"But Mozzie, if he’s not in the car, he’s semi-painful in between rounds, so you’ve got to get him seat time."
Shell V-Power Racing Team driver Anton De Pasquale also took part at Spa, with Stephen and Brenton Grove and their Grove Racing Porsche.
This year's Spa 24 will be held a week before the NTI Townsville 500, on the same weekend Mostert’s Supercars rival Shane van Gisbergen makes his NASCAR debut.
Van Gisbergen will run a Project91 Camaro out of the Trackhouse stable in the inaugural NASCAR Chicago street race.
Mostert will return to Australia for a test day ahead of the betr Darwin Triple Crown, and the Ford star is keen to find more speed in his Mustang.
“We have a completely different car, so form guide means nothing,” he told the Schick Cool Down Lap podcast.
“We’ve got a test day after this, there are a lot of things we want to keep trying. We’re trying to work out things.
"The cars are running without fault now, we really need to hammer down at the test day and see if we can learn something."
Mostert is third in the Supercars standings heading to the betr Darwin Triple Crown on June 16-18.
