A big year has gotten a whole lot better for Chaz Mostert heading to the betr Darwin Triple Crown.

The Walkinshaw Andretti United driver posted to social media to reveal his engagement to long-time partner Riarne Marwood.

Mostert proposed to Marwood prior to the NED Whisky Tasmania SuperSprint in May.

"I’ve never been so sure of anything in my life than saying yes to spending my forever with you Chaz,” she wrote to social media.

Mostert’s May also featured a whirlwind trip to Belgium to test the SunEnergy1 Racing Mercedes-AMG entered in this year’s Spa 24 Hours.

The two-time Bathurst winner has since confirmed he will compete in the race, with the car owned by two-time Bathurst 12 Hour winner Kenny Habul.

The Mostert engagement is the latest in a line of exciting family news for drivers in the last 12 months.
