A mini docuseries following Broc Feeney’s rookie season in the Repco Supercars Championship is set to be released.

New Kid on the Broc gives a raw and unfiltered insight into the teenager’s first year as a full-time driver.

A trailer released on September 26 gave fans a sneak peek of the three-part docuseries, which will include behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with key team members.

Fans will gain an insight into the highly anticipated 19-year-old taking over retiring seven-time champion Jamie Whincup’s seat in 2022.

Exclusive interviews with Whincup, Team Manager Mark Dutton, Feeney’s engineer Martin Short, and father Paul Feeney, give an uncensored look into the young gun's rise to the main game.

“He’s a young kid, whose definitely got a good head on his shoulders,” Whincup says in the trailer.

“He knows the level, and he’s going to strive to get there.”

Episode one reflects on Feeney’s first few rounds as a rookie while he prepares to tackle July’s NTI Townsville 500.

The Gold Coast-based driver speaks of his bruising debut in the Sydney opener, his maiden Supercars podium in Tasmania, and a tough weekend at Albert Park.

The second instalment will take fans inside the 2021 Dunlop Super2 champion’s family life and his workout routine.

The final episode will follow the Queenslander's first Repco Bathurst 1000 as a full-time driver.

“Broc’s grown up in a racing environment, he’s very used to winning,” Paul Feeney said.

“Broc will be his hardest critic.”

It comes as the championship-winning team is featured in the new series of Inside Line, with episode five of the seven-part series to premiere on Fox Sports 506 and Kayo on Wednesday.

The first episode of New Kid on the Broc will be released on Triple Eight Race Engineering channels at 4pm AEST on Tuesday September 26.

The further two episodes will be released weekly.

Tickets for the Repco Bathurst 1000 are available on Supercars.com and Ticketek.
