For so many, motorsport is something the family has always attended or watched together. Days at the track or on the couch, taking in the biggest moments as they happen, which you will all talk about for years to come.

"Remember that Sandown Skaifey won in the wet?"

"What about when Will had the huge crash, back when he was with HRT?"

"How did Whincup and Dumbrell come back from that pit lane penalty and blitz FPR?"

The Wilson Security Sandown 500 is one of the year's biggest V8 Supercars events - so if you're in Victoria, buying a ticket and heading to the track with your dad is a great way to celebrate Father's Day.

With the chance to see all 50 drivers (and co-drivers) across the weekend at a number of autograph sessions - and, of course, on-track - there are plenty of reasons to head to the circuit.

The V8 Supercars stars will qualify and contest one qualifying race on Saturday, their co-drivers jumping in for another qualifying race, before working together on the big day and pushing to the limits for premium points in Sunday's 500km feature.

With kids under 14 receiving free trackside admission with a paying adult, and premium grandstand ticket holders gaining free V8 Supercars Paddock access, bring the whole family and make sure your father's day gift means spending quality time with dad (as well as something fun for you!).

Despite a packed scheduled over race meetings, even V8 Supercars' top drivers make memories with their little ones at the track.

I've got Oliver looking over some data. #v8sc bring on tomorrow!!

For those not in Victoria, why not schedule some couch time with dad and tune in next weekend, September 13-14 for the race?
