An autograph session with Supercars drivers ahead of the Tyrepower Tasmania SuperSprint will be paired with a special screening of Days of Thunder on Thursday.
Before they tackle Symmons Plains on April 6-8, Will Davison, Lee Holdsworth, Todd Hazelwood and Jack Le Brocq will meet fans at Village Cinemas Launceston from 5:30pm on Thursday April 5.
The session with the quartet will be followed by a 7pm screening of Days of Thunder, the 1990 film featuring Tom Cruise as NASCAR upstart Cole Trickle.
Entering the third event of the 2018 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship, Davison is 16th in the standings for the new Milwaukee Racing, two spots ahead of Preston Hire Racing’s Holdsworth.
Among this year’s group of five rookies, Tekno Autosports’ Le Brocq and Bigmate Racing's Hazelwood are 21st and 22nd.
Le Brocq and Hazelwood are both making their first main game Symmons Plains appearances, having driven there last year in the Dunlop Super2 Series.
