Live updates: Marcos Ambrose's car unveil and ride day

This morning, Marcos Ambrose, Dick Johnson and a special guest will unveil the new Ford Falcon FG the returning two-time champ will race at the Sydney NRMA 500.

The reveal is taking place at Lakeside in Queensland, where Ambrose will drive the car for the first time as part of a media ride day.

After it was announced in September that DJR would transform into DJR Team Penske, with the motorsport mogul joining V8 Supercars from 2015, news broke that Ambrose would contest the final event of the season to get his eye in before the first hit-out for Championship points at next year's Clipsal 500 Adelaide in February.

A combination of Team Penske and DJR staff has come together to form the crew of what will be the #66 at this year's grand finale, with Ambrose's car running as a wild card and in addition to the #16 and #17 entries of Scott Pye and David Wall.
