Leading motorsport writers join Supercars.com

Supercars has announced a major expansion of its website for 2017 as it builds one of Australia’s leading sports digital platforms

Chief Executive James Warburton said two of Australia’s leading motorsport writers, Stefan Bartholomaeus and Lewis Isaacs, would be joining Supercars.com in 2017.

Bartholomaeus, who has been appointed Digital Editor, is a multi-award winning motor sport  journalist who has worked for Speedcafe for the past six years and is widely acknowledged as one of the leading news breakers in the sport.

Isaacs will also write for Supercars.com after four years as a journalist at Auto Action as well as publications such as Top Gear, Motor, Car Advice and Sporting News

“Their knowledge, experience and news breaking skills will cement the position of Supercars.com as the most popular and authoritative digital platform in Australian motorsport,” Warburton said.

“In February we will launch a new Supercars App and build on the double digit growth our platforms have enjoyed over the past two years.  Visitors to Supercars.com have increased by 25 per cent since 2014 with huge growth led by video content. We also have more than one million followers across our social media platforms.

“Digital remains a key focus for Supercars and will continue drive fan engagement across all our platforms.”
