Jack Le Brocq will take to the grid for the NED Whisky Tasmania SuperSprint finale.

Le Brocq suffered a major accident on the opening lap of Sunday's first race.

Contact with Andre Heimgartner sent the #34 Truck Assist Commodore into the Turn 7 barriers.

The race, which was won by Shane van Gisbergen, was neutralised and later red-flagged.

The repairs came in good time, with Le Brocq qualifying a career-best second for Race 5.

The 30-year-old will line-up alongside Will Davison for the 44-lap race.

"It's amazing," Le Brocq said.

"I can't thank the MSR guys enough. Looking at it two hours ago, it was a little bit sad.

"It shows how professional these guys are and that we're on the up.

"I'm stoked that we're able to line up on the front row.

"We'll see how we go... it's got wheels on it, that's all we're after."

The NED Whisky Tasmania SuperSprint will conclude with a final 44-lap sprint at 3:55pm AEDT.
