The final race of the weekend is about to get underway at Hidden Valley Raceway – Reynolds starts on pole once again, with Lowndes alongside.

We've seen one win for Holden, one win for Ford so far at the SKYCITY Triple Crown – who will take honours in the last race?

Once again is a 100km, 35-lap race, with teams required to use both soft and hard compound tyres throughout the race.

On the grid, Reynolds says he has saved his best set of tyres for this race.

Lap one – many cars in a big off, including Fiore, Slade, Holdsworth, Premat, Ingall, Wall and Moffat. There seemed to be contact further up the field, with McLaughlin sandwiched between two cars. Bright is on the outside and manages to drive away.

Coulthard also has damage.

Will be a restart.

Reynolds had a good start and was clear on Lowndes – but they will face off from the front of the grid again.

Bright said he felt like a ping pong ball – while he got through the accident, the car is still pretty bent up.

Ingall will take the restart in the Supercheap Auto Commodore, despite being involved in the accident.

Still under red flag conditions. This race will run tight on time, with a time certain finish of 4.35pm plus one lap. It's currently 4.05pm local time.

Post-race investigation: incident at urns 2-3.

About to restart.

Warm-up lap underway and Coulthard doesn't get off the line.

The car has started, he'll rejoin at the back of the grid.

Confirmation the race will be time certain.

Reynolds once again gets the jump on Lowndes.

Another big moment for McLaughlin into five. Davison into Tander.

Cars already being spoken to about coming in for soft tyres.

Lowndes, Winterbottom, Webb, Engel, D'Alberto and Pye already in.

Slade, Wall, Alex Davison, Holdsworth, Moffat, Fiore and Premat are the cars that did not restart.

Whincup jumps a bunch of cars in pitlane – Whincup, Tander, Will Davison, Bright and van Gisbergen have been in.

Reynolds leaves pit lane, but rejoins behind Lowndes. L4.

Courtney on the side of the track on turn six.

L5 and red flag. Now showing as yellow! Courtney can't get the car going just into the hairpin.

McLaughlin, Blanchard, Rick Kelly in pits.

Under investigation Whincup for spinning wheels at pit stop.

Reynolds again behind a Red Bull Racing Australia car for a restart after safety car – Lowndes this time.

HRT believes it's an electrical drama for Courtney.

Restarted on L8 – some contact between Tander and Will Davison.

Drive-through penalty for Whincup spinning wheels.

Whincup rejoins in 20th.

Under 15 minutes remaining for the race.

Battle between Todd Kelly and Coulthard for 14th. Coulthard saying the engine is too hot on the radio.

Only one Mercedes remains in the field, Engel in ninth.

Whincup pitted for tyres. 30 points for 20th, which is last position, with all the non-finishers.

Bad Sportmanship flag for Todd Kelly for blocking.

Less than 10 mins to go and we are on lap 15. Lowndes leads from Reynolds, Winterbottom, Webb, Tander, Will Davison.

Mostert into the back of Todd Kelly on L17.

L18 with less than six minutes to go. Winterbottom close behind Reynolds, looks as though he may take second soon.

L20 and three laps to go. Winterbottom now in second.

Mostert and Todd Kelly muscling for position, ending in Todd Kelly turned around at off track at the final corner.

L23 – 30 seconds to go. Winterbottom and Lowndes have broken away from the rest of the field.

Once this lap is completed, there will be one final and the race will end. Lowndes leads Winterbottom.

Such an exciting battle between Lowndes and Winterbottom on the final lap – Lowndes over the line just 0.1165sec ahead of Winterbottom.

Reynolds follows for third, with Webb, Tander, van Gisbergen, Will Davison, McLaughlin, Engel and Bright in the top 10.

Engel's best finish, inside the top 10.

Whincup finishes in 19th and Coulthard – who had progressed to third in the Championship after Davison's DNF yesterday – has made it, in 13th.
