Inside Supercars heads to Townsville

Inside Supercars will join a Foxtel all-in as some of the network's biggest stars and celebrities broadcast from the Townsville Civic Theatre ahead of the Watpac Townsville 400.

Inside Supercars will be joined by fellow Fox Sports programs Queenslanders Only, League Life and Sky News' Paul Murray Live for a unique back-to-back series of broadcasts in front of live audiences on Wednesday, July 5.

Starting at 3pm and free for the public, the event will also include games, food trucks and footy clinics for fans to enjoy alongside the live shows.

Rugby League and Townsville product Gordon Tallis said the event will be a boost to the Queensland community.

“It’s great that Foxtel, Fox Sports and Sky News are able to bring Inside Supercars, Queenslanders Only, League Life and Paul Murray LIVE to North Queensland. The fans in the North deserve the recognition," he said.

“North Queensland fans are some of the most passionate in the country. They live and breathe rugby league. They’ve got the new stadium coming, are home to some of the best rugby league talent in the NRL and are huge supporters of the game.

“I can’t wait to get up there, it’s always great to get back home to Townsville and to bring these shows to North Queensland is a massive thrill.”

League Life 7.30pm – 8.00pm

Paul Murray LIVE 9.00pm – 11.00pm
