Holden Racing Team has revealed a peek at the new livery it will run for this weekend's Clipsal 500 Adelaide.

Having run testing colours at the pre-season sydney.com SuperTest, the team will unveil its revised look on its 25th birthday tomorrow, ahead of a race meeting the team has previously had great success at.

HRT has had more victories at the Adelaide street circuit than any other team, with six to its name, and both current drivers James Courtney and Garth Tander are previous winners.

Courtney won the event last year, with a sensational victory in the 250km Sunday race, leading home Craig Lowndes by a mere 0.66sec.

Courtney told v8supercars.com.au he believes the same challengers will be pushing for the title this season - but after working on reliability over the off-season, the HRT Commodores were in a great position to charge for the Championship.

"Last year we finished really, really strong," the 2010 champion said.

"We started and had really good pace throughout the year. We had a few little things - reliability and a few things that weren't quite right, which we've really worked on hard over the off-season.

"Hopefully we've found a little bit more car speed so I think we're always building towards this year and I think definitely this is our year."

He named reigning champs Red Bull Racing Australia, newly named Prodrive Racing (Australia) and Wilson Security Racing GRM as his main challengers.

"I think in 2015 it's going to be the same guys with Triple Eight, PRA, and us, and probably the Volvos as well," Courtney said.

"It's going to be a tough year, it always is but I think the same guys who were consistently at the front last year will be the same this year."

Courtney finished the full-field shootout in third position, with teammate Garth Tander 10th at the sydney.com SuperTest.

Stay tuned for the HRT unveil tomorrow from the Clipsal 500 Adelaide.
