Erebus and HP South Pacific announced a technology and marketing partnership today, with the HP brand featuring on both Mercedes Benz E63 AMG V8 Supercars.

The team unveiled the new stickers on the eve of the WD-40 Phillip Island SuperSprint on the cars driven by Will Davison and Dean Canto.

The partnership is reported to be from 2015 onwards.

Erebus Motorsport owner Betty Klimenko believes the deal is an integral step forward for Erebus Motorsport.

"High performance computing is crucial to motorsport," Klimenko said.

"HP have had great success in Formula 1 and we look forward to working with them on our developments."

HP South Pacific Director Personal Systems Paul Gracey was enthusiastic about supporting the V8 Supercars team.

"Australians love motorsports and we are excited about HP's technology partnership with Erebus Motorsport," Gracey said.

"This partnership will deliver the best in class technology for the highly competitive V8 Supercars championship.

"HP has always been at the forefront of innovation, we will be deploying a broad range of HP products to enable Erebus to build a dynamic environment to enhance its team's performance both on-and-off the track. This is far greater than a logo on a car,

"We view this partnership as performance driving performance and we're excited about the race ahead."

The partnership is effective immediately and HP will be supplying a range of PC and print technology solutions for the track, machine shop, management teams and server rooms.

The #4 car reverts back to the Wendys livery for the rest of the season, while Davison continues to run in Penrite colours.
