Holden to be farewelled in Adelaide

The famous Australian brand will make its final Supercars appearance at the season finale.

From 2023, Commodores will be replaced by Chevrolet Camaros.

Holden will be farewelled from Supercars in style with a special Tribute Cruise on Saturday December 3.

Ahead of the penultimate race of the 2022 Repco Supercars Championship, a cavalcade of several hundred Holdens will depart from the former Holden Elizabeth factory to the Adelaide circuit at 8.00am ACST on Saturday.

Holden owners can secure their place on the Tribute Cruise here.

The homage to Holden will culminate in Craig Lowndes completing a lap of honour with State Premier Peter Malinauskas, while behind the wheel of a treasured Holden vehicle.

The brand will also be represented at the event with 33 special Holden vehicles on display.

Photo opportunities will be aplenty, with fans welcome to walk the display parking area, viewing some of Australia and South Australia’s most cherished and precious Holden’s from over the decades.

Further to the Tribute Cruise Display, during all four days of the VALO Adelaide 500, event goers can walk through a curated Holden Display near Gate 1, viewing 33 special Holden vehicles from throughout history.

Supercars and Super2 will conclude their 2022 seasons at the VALO Adelaide 500.

Tickets are available on Supercars.com and Ticketek.com.
