Off-track entertainment will return in a big way at the season-opening Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight.

Tickets went on sale on Thursday for the event, which will open the 2022 Repco Supercars Championship.

The Sydney round will host some of Australia’s hottest DJs as off-track entertainment.

DJs and some of Sydney’s leading cover bands will perform within a new party precinct next to the main grandstand over all three days of the event.

The Saturday night party, held after the first race of the new season, will be headlined by Hot Dub Time Machine.

The global festival sensation will lead the concert, which will be the first of its kind in a newly created party zone.

Ticket-holders will be able to attend the event once Saturday night’s race concludes.

Corporate facilities will remain open as well as the roof terrace area of the Sydney Motorsport Park pit complex.

The Australian-born star has performed at events including the likes of Coachella, Reading and Leeds Festival, Latitude Festival and Splendour in the Grass.

The broader entertainment package will include the SuperKids Zone, merchandise alley, food and beverage facilities, and fireworks.

"We are starting the 2022 Repco Supercars Championship off in our own trademark style," Supercars CEO Shane Howard said.

"We are bringing in new attractions both on and off track to help make the Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight a multifaceted event that caters to wider appeal.

"From our passionate racing fans, to families with young children who love racing and high-energy music fans, this event will have something for all ages."

For the first time in Sydney, the Gen3 General Motors Camaro and Ford Mustang prototypes will be driven on track.

The Dunlop Super2 Series, Aussie Racing Cars Super Series, Touring Car Masters and the Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia 86 Series will also take to the track.

Plans are underway for more on track displays for fans to take place across the event with details to be released in due course.
