Andre Heimgartner has shown off the striking white-based helmet design he will campaign in 2021.

The New Zealander's 2021 helmet was designed by Melbourne-based KR Colour.

The 25-year-old's Stilo piece features a twist on his 2020 scheme, with grey artwork featuring along the bottom of the helmet.

Among the drawings are the Auckland Harbour Bridge, a Kiwi bird and a football, representing Heimgartner's New Zealand roots.

Personal sponsors Civiltrain, Tasman Automotive, High Line Active, 1Percent Performance and Hamilton Asphalts all feature on the helmet.

Heimgartner is expected to hit the track at Winton for official pre-season testing next week despite suffering a hand injury at last month's Castrol Racing Series event at Hampton Downs.

He finished runner-up to fellow Supercars driver Shane van Gisbergen in the iconic New Zealand Grand Prix.

Despite avoiding surgery, he was recently substituted by Rick Kelly for Kelly Grove Racing's corporate ride day at Phillip Island.

Heimgartner will make his competitive return at the Repco Mt Panorama 500. Tickets are on sale now.
