Todd Hazelwood will don a predominantly silver design for the entire Townsville doubleheader as Black Duck SeatCovers ups its backing of the Brad Jones Racing #14.

Having come aboard what was then a camouflage livery at Sydney Motorsport Park, Black Duck will take over as naming rights partner for the next two events.

Hazelwood is keen to roll out the silver, turquoise and black scheme today at a Townsville track that has been kind to him in the past.

“Townsville is one of my favourite street tracks and I’m so happy to be back here," he said.

“My engineer [Tony Woodward] and I have done a lot of homework this week going through every element to make sure we come out competitive this weekend.

“It’s been a little bit up and down for the #14 rocket lately but I’m feeling confident we’re heading back in the right direction.

“The livery looks unreal, she looks fast! A big thank you to Black Duck for their support and getting behind myself and the team here in Townsville.

“I’ll be fighting hard to get the duck back up that point end of the grid, where we belong.”

Black Duck general manager Perry Fulton added: “The whole Black Duck Team have thoroughly enjoyed working with Todd and the BJR team and when the opportunity arrived to have naming rights, we just couldn’t resist.”

Hazelwood will hit the track for opening practice at the NTI Townsville SuperSprint from 10am local time today.
