Happy Easter from V8 Supercars

V8 Supercars wishes everyone a happy and safe Easter weekend.

The racing returns later this week at the Tyrepower Tasmania SuperSprint, which kicks off with practice on Friday.

Nissan’s Michael Caruso leads the championship from Red Bull duo Jamie Whincup and Shane van Gisbergen.

The Triple Eight team has a stellar record at Tasmania and will again be hard to beat this weekend with three cars fielded in 2016.

It was the site of a big clash between Holden Racing Team star and new TEKNO recruit Will Davison last year; and Lowndes and David Reynolds also had a tap on the first lap on Sunday.

Expect more action this time around with one longer race on Saturday, all on soft Dunlop tyres, as we start to see the 2016 contenders emerge.
