The RAAF's elite formation aerobatic display team, The Roulettes, have been announced to perform a series of high octane aerial displays at the Castrol EDGE Gold Coast 600 adding even more high speed thrills to the event.

Considered one of the greatest aerial display teams on the planet, the Roulettes will be conducting three aerial displays throughout the weekend, which will be visible not only to ticket holders but to locals and visitors to Queensland's playground.

Roulette Leader, Squadron Leader Glenn Canfield, said that he and the team are looking forward to bringing some high energy, high octane action to the skies above the Gold Coast and are thrilled to be added to the event line-up.

"The Roulettes have been supporting events all over Australia and the Asia Pacific, but there is just something magical about flying over the Gold Coast and to do this at the Castrol EDGE Gold Coast 600 makes it even more special," he said.

V8 Supercars' Chief Operating Officer Shane Howard, said the Roulettes will add another level of excitement and energy to what will be an already outstanding weekend at the Castrol EDGE Gold Coast 600.

"The Gold Coast is famous for fun and excitement, the Roulettes will definitely add their own flavour of excitement to the Castrol EDGE Gold Coast 600 giving race goers another reason to make it to this year's event," he said.

"Buy an event ticket and you'll get to watch all the on-track action, enjoy the non-stop off track action and watch the high energy, high octane skills of the Roulettes."

The first show will be on Friday night just before the return of the high octane action of the Australia's biggest and most powerful drag racing machines for a two-hour adrenalin packed show.

The Roulettes will be performing their spectacular aerial displays at the following times:
Friday 24 October at 5:35pm
Saturday 25 October at 2:07pm
Sunday 26 October at 1:22pm
