One of Queensland’s biggest annual sporting events is getting even bigger this year, with three headline music acts announced for three huge nights of entertainment at the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500.

The event will see some of Australia’s hottest DJs and international stars take to the Club 500 stage on Macintosh Island on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening of October’s event, headlined by Bliss n Eso, Carl Cox & Eric Powell’s Mobile Disco and Sneaky Sound System.

Aussie hip hop giants Bliss n Eso will get the party started on Friday 28th October.

The nine-time ARIA nominated act will hit the stage to deliver some of their biggest hits, including the triple-platinum single ‘Moments (feat. Gavin James)’, which has amassed 60+ million streams across platforms and received the ARIA Award for Best Music Video.

Supporting Bliss n Eso on the Friday night will be DJ Total Eclipse, who performed to rave reviews at the recent NTI Townsville 500.

The internationally renowned turntablist has toured with some of the world’s biggest stars including Eminem and Jay-Z and had the entire Townsville crowd on their feet earlier this year.

Saturday’s performance will see Carl Cox & Eric Powell’s Mobile Disco return to the stage where they lit up the Gold Coast in 2019.

The pair will put on a trademark show for the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 fans.

On Sunday night following the final race of the event, Aussie superstars Sneaky Sound System will close the event with a stellar performance of some of their biggest hits.

Since winning two ARIA Awards in 2006 following the release of their debut Album, the popular dance act has toured the world performing international hits such as I Love It, UFO and Pictures as well as collaborating with some of the world’s biggest artists.

Sneaky Sound System will be supported on Sunday by two acts: Brooke Evers and Kota Banks.

Brooke Evers will kickstart performances on Sunday night with one of the DJ sets that have seen her become one of the most popular electro club acts between Australia and Los Angeles.

Kota Banks burst onto the Australian music scene in 2017 and within a few short months had accumulated over 20 million plays on Spotify.

All entertainment is included as part of a same day event ticket to the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500.

“The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 is an opportunity to showcase the best of Supercars to a global audience and we are thrilled with what is in store this year,” Supercars CEO Shane Howard said.

“This event is the biggest annual sporting event in Queensland and we want to make sure it’s the biggest party of the year, for fans who’ve been waiting since 2019 to get back to Surfers Paradise.

“Three huge nights of performances is something we have never done on the Gold Coast, so it’s exciting that we have secured some of the biggest acts getting around to take to the Club 500 stage.”

Queensland Tourism and Sport Minister Stirling Hinchliffe said motorsport fans and tourism operators were looking forward to the return of Supercars to the Gold Coast.

“With high-octane entertainment on and off the track, the Gold Coast 500 always brings local and interstate visitors to one of Australia’s best street circuits,” Mr Hinchliffe said.

“That’s why the Queensland Government is backing the first Gold Coast 500 since the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Supercars are estimated to deliver $42 million for the Gold Coast visitor economy and supercharge Queensland’s reputation as a major events capital.”

“2022 is rounding out as a year where our major events calendar went into overdrive – literally,” said Mayor Tom Tate.

“I applaud Major Events Gold Coast and Supercars for bringing high-powered street racing back to the coast.

“Drivers have consistently told me that behind Bathurst, the Gold Coast round is their favourite with around 200,000 race enthusiasts converging on the city for the three-day shoot out. Let’s get the green light and get racing underway in October.’’

Boost Mobile Founder Peter Adderton said: "Boost Mobile is excited to be a part of making what is Queensland's biggest event of the year even better".

"Music has always been a part of Boost Mobile's DNA, we have worked with a number of artists over the years from Kayne, Travis Parker, Linkin Park, Ludacris, The Game and many more. So it’s great to see some great acts playing at this year's Boost Mobile 500".

"The Boost Mobile 500 on the Gold Coast is going to be the place to be at the end of October".

The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 will be held 28-30 October on the streets of Surfers Paradise.

Tickets are now available through Supercars.com and Ticketek.
