The Gen3 prototypes have been rolled out for a final test day in 2022.

The Gen3 Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro took to Queensland Raceway on Monday.

Current full-time drivers James Courtney, James Golding and Will Brown all turned laps of the Ipswich circuit.

Tickford Racing veteran Courtney drove the Ford, with Erebus Motorsport's Brown and PremiAir Racing's Golding lapping the Camaro.

Long-time Walkinshaw Andretti United co-driver Warren Luff drove both cars. Porsche youngster Bayley Hall, meanwhile, lapped the Camaro.

The test day was held in hot and humid conditions, albeit with cloud cover setting in in the afternoon.

Queensland-based teams will return to Queensland Raceway on January 30 for the first shakedown of their cars.

Victorian teams will do the same at Winton Motor Raceway on February 1.

Test days are scheduled for February 7 (Winton) and February 9 (Ipswich).

The test schedule will round out for all teams at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 22.

All test dates are subject to change.
